this may or may not work for your system but it is worth to try.. Asus boards have a setting in the bios Legacy USB if enabled Win2K and also WinXp goes crazy..If you have a setting in your bios like that one then make sure that it is set to bDISBALED..
The reason I think that you get all those IRQ on IRQ steering - as it is called - is because you may have PNP OS set to enabled in the bios - set this one also to DISABLED - this will reassign the IRQ by the hardware - much better than have Windows do it...
