If you have 3D aspirations you will need the CyberPower 12 ultimate suite for software and yes the motherboard/CPU combination will work well for that.

Do you have any specific monitor in mind or is that something you'll want to do later?
I ask because that and the suite will stress your budget.

The Win 7 media center does not playback blu-ray, you'd still have to buy software, so get Win 8 and save yourself some future problems.
