When getting to her computer, there was a quick (just a few seconds) that said hit any key to boot from CD. I did, and it loaded files twice and then the screen went black. I never heard any activity after that, ejected the CD, and had to shut the computer off.

Same as my experience. Maybe it's because we're both in Indiana.
