No boot after failed critical update
So I come home last night after work to my pc setting at the choose boot option screen with just two choices. Boot into windows recovery and start normally, both options took me into windows recovery. I messed around in recovery and found that my C drive was not even being recognized, it is a 1tb black with a 40gb ssd for cache using intel srt. I could not run chkdsk or sfc/ scannow even when using the offbotdir=c:\ /offwinddir=c:\windows commands. So I plug in my usb install stick and try recovery that way and same thing no disk found. I suspect at this point it is because of the srt cache and raid config with my c drive so I power down and unplug the sata cable from the cache drive, boot back up and switch bios to ahci just to see if it makes a difference and it worked. I could then see my os installed in recovery, so I shut down plug the ssd back in and switch back to raid mode. I boot into recovery and run chkdsk and sfc/ scannow both run successfully but still no boot, however now it gets to the windows logo and then blue screens. So back to recovery I go and I try bootrec.exe /fixmbr and /fixboot, still no go, I get a supper fast blue screen that cant be read. I found out that if I hit ctrl during bootup it will let me f8 and try other boot option, I tried safe mode, last working boot, and bootlog, all with the same results blue screen. I dont know how to view the bootlog since I cant even log in through safe mode.
Any ideas fellas, I dont want to nuke and pave because I have around 100gb of games on my c drive and it will take me ages to re download it all. I thought about using a secondary hdd to temp install windows on and run a true image of the c drive, but I don't think that will help since its already borked. Can I recover specific pieces out of a true image, could I image the drive then nuke and pave my c drive and then just re install my games from the image?
Forgot to add when I try to run recovery I get windows cannot automatically fix blah blah blah, with the problem details of
