Please refer back to post #3. There are 3 different color ports. Open your motherboard manual and find the motherboard detailed diagrams. Each port has a unique ID - please tell me the color and ID of each port something is connected to, and exactly what is connected to it.

You can get the bios version on the initial startup screen or by entering the bios and looking around.

While looking around in the bios, find the settings for the controllers and tell me if they are set to IDE, AHCI, or RAID - and be specific to EXACTLY which controller.

I cannot really help you unless you can answer my detailed questions in detail. I really do need to know exactly what each driver on the disk is that you could choose from. Please don't second guess me.
