I have a netgear 314, and that same thing happened to me. I was fooling around with the IP settings and royaly f***ed something up and couldn't access it at all. I had to go down to radioshack and buy a RS-232 DB9 male to female cable. Connect the router to your computer with that and read the pdf file that came with the router on how to see how to upload the original firmware to revert it back the original defaults. Now, if you just got the router and you can't connect, then this is not the problem, but if it has been working fine, try that. HTH
