Research Jam Cam:

You experience may be different, but for an inexpensive and half way decent digital camera, I would highly recommend the Agfa CL-18. It takes decent pics for Ebay, the web, e-mail and holds up to 32-640x480 pics. It can be had on ebay for $30-$50. I've had mine for 1 1/2 years and have been quite pleased with it. It takes pretty darn good shots outside, but inside-despite having a built in flash- it can be picky. I bought a used 8mm movie light for $4 and it's worked well for my Ebay shots. E-mail me if you like and I'll send you a zip file of some shots.

At any rate, good luck!

PS- I'm going to be selling mine (finally moving up to something with an optical zoom).....just in case you're interested. Also, whatever you end up with get a USB model as the serial port type will eat batteries like there's no tomorrow.
