ok ill try and explain a little better,i m trying to make a vcr video for a funeral tommorrow.its a tribute video of short clips im capturing with a pci all in wonder.the card has been in the the computer a long time never any prob.ive never done this before ,i hooked up the vcr and was capturing clips ok i saved each clip to an avi file.I then hooked up the cable out from the comp. to in vcr to try and put it onto vcr tape .It did not work so i thought there might be some working files missing so i reloaded the soft ware (in a panick)and i dont think i uninstalled the software properly before i installed it again.I think this is where the driver conflict is happening.also what i need to know is can i tape these files onto avcr tape in this format avi.im not at the computer i will be using but i will be there in about another 30 minutes.i hope there someone out there that can help me through this today thanks again
