I've done all my editing using Notepad and just coding HTML (granted, I haven't done much, and it wasn't terribly complex). Using a WYSIWYG program, in my opinion, isn't very helpful. HTML isn't hard to learn at all, so there isn't much excuse not to learn it and do everything yourself.
