A friend of mine went to turn on his computer he got the POST beeps but when it went to run Win. Me he got a message that he would have to run a trough Scan disk. We tried that and 6 hours later we still had 900K to do . Then I tried useing his Me. boot disk but it would not work. Then we tried to use the Maxtor Disk he got with the hard drive and that would not work. Any Ideas.

AMD Athlon 900
384 Megs Ram
Asus Mother.[Don,t know Model]
Nivida Geforce 2 Video Card
30 Gig ATA 100 Hard Drive
Soundblaster Plat. Sound Card
