I'm in agreement with Deadeye. XP is a stretch for those systems. You don't indicate what HD size you have but I'm running XP PRO that is loaded on a 4G partition and it used up 3G just for the install. If I was doing it now I would use a 6G partition.

XP cain't be installed on multiple PC like WIN9X and ME can because of the activation. You will need to purchase a copy for each system.

MS also has a download to check for compatability. It is a 50M download that chechs your system for compatability.
