Hi. I'm new to networking and I just made a network using 1ISA 10BT nic (Pentim 133 24MB of ram Win95B) , 1PCI 10BT nic (Celeron 300 128MB of ram Win98FE) and a 10BT hub.

I transfered 21 wav files (about 30MBs each) from the computer with the PCI NIC to the computer with the ISA NIC and it took forever. I also tried to do it with only one wav file (30MB) and it took about 2minutes to transfer. I then took out the ISA NIC out of the other computer thinking that the ISA slot caused the data transfer to be slow and I replaced it with a PCI NIC so both computers had in PCI nics. I tried to transfer the same wav file (30MB) and it took 1 minute.

What is wrong ?

Note: All of the networking equipment is made by Kingston. Hub: KNE-5TP/H
ISA card: KNE 20BT
PCI card: KNE 30BT

Was the wav file supposed to take 1-2 minutes to transfer or was it supposed to take 4-10 seconds ?
