Hey Carlos. I'd go along with Fried-Egg Dude and add netbeui protocal on your nics in the network configuration.
Also, how are you transferring these files? Are you merely compying/moving using explorer, or are you mapped to the other folder/drive? It's much faster if you map to the folder.
