Ahhh, therein lies the problem.

If you are using a hub, then you should not be checking the options to obtain IP address automatically. Where is your DHCP server? Unless you have some connection to the internet and your ISP has provided you with multiple IP's, then there is no server. You will need to go into each of the network control panels and assign IP addresses. For example,
for the Sony - 192.168.10.1
for the HP - 192.168.10.2
for the new build - 192.168.10.3

How do you connect to the internet? Cable? DSL? dialup?
