Hi OOPS:

Good to hear that you are sticking with Linux too.

Well, basically what you are doing is simply clicking on the link on the FTP site and expecting a save as dialog box, whereas your browser isnt set to leave RPM files alone and not try to display them .. of course easily remedied by: Right Click on RPM file .. SAVE AS... Save to a directory and then do your RPM magic to it.

PS: Please do verify the links you post, its a bit of a pain to troubleshoot when you have to start navigating from the root directory. Link is at: ftp://ftp.gnucash.org/pub/gnucash/re....x/1.4.x/RPMS/
