Hi no1_knows,

What kind of programs and applications are running in background on your system? What OS are you using?

Have you tried running your system with only Explorer and Systray listed in the box that pops up when you hit Ctrl Alt Del?

What is KERNEL32.DLL?

For hard drives, look at the Maxtor DiamondMax Plus D740X series or Western Digital WDBB or WDJB series.
