I might step on some feet here, but can I ask why that is? Why? Why? Why? I really want to know why people only wish to hit 1000. Is it the pretty little picture next to your name? I must admit I find a majority of the avatars annoying or at least distracting. Is it the deviously witty personal title? Is it thought that people will think you a better troubleshooter given that you have 1000 posts?
This is not meant as a rant. . . Well partially, yes. . . but, I really do want to know why. I am always fascinated by personal psychology. I have always wanted to ask this and now I can finally do this without being called a hypocrite, since posts in the General forum are not counted.
Besides, I have been here for a pretty long stretch, so if I ever reach 1000, it will be with the lowest post per day average the forum has ever seen.
