Opera Software today released Opera 6.05 for Windows, a pure security upgrade that will implement changes in OpenSSL made public on Aug. 7, 2002 by the CERT Coordination Center (CERT/CC) as well as other bugfixes.
I would say that you should upgrade. No need to download the whole java version if you have 6.x Java already - the nonjava is all you need. I upgraded last night. Opera 6.x upgrades are very painless, just install over the top and none of your preferences get disturbed.
