1. When you install it, 2002 doesn't upgrade the previous version of the WP suite, it just installs itself so that you have two versions of Wordperfect on your computer. It does not automatically or even provide an option for importing the previous version's dictionary, macros, quickwords, quickcorrect, or templates. You have to do this manually and WP does not provide any documentation on how to make the transfers. Hence, you will spend much time figuring out how to import these files. Given that the new version doesn't add much, upgrading is more trouble than it is worth.

2. The patches for WP are huge- for instance the latest service patch for WP 2002 is 105 MG- which makes it quite difficult to impossible to download unless you have broadband.

Just a caution for you that are thinking or upgrading.
