Condensation is a VERY real danger. Especially if the peltier device is a biggie.
Anytime a temp is BELOW ambient, condensation becomes likely.
That is, your CPU is cooled to 70 (f) and the ambient air temp is say 80(f).
While this is a minor exageration, it explains my point.
My "kmart" dorm fridge "contraption" is a large peltier device of 80/30 watts and does cause condensation but I have it mounted in a way to keep moisture away from the system board.
CPU peltiers are another thing, they keep the danger rather close to home.
