What is the room temperature where u live?
Are you using standard Heatsink fan?
Have you got fans in the case aswell?
What are your temps at present at idle and load?
Are you overclocking, or planning to OC it?
My XP1800 would run fairly hot when I had the stock HSF, so I had set it to 60*C. During summer I did hit it a few times.My idle temp back then was 50+*C!
Whatever your idle is, add another 10-15 degrees and that should be your maximum roughly. Now, with a good HSF and case ventilation, I never go above 40*C load (check sig 4 details)
AMD run quite hot, so good ventilation, and at least one intake and exhaust helps the airflow..pretty much a priority with the AMD's
There are so many variable factors, that it is hard to give you a good temp to choose... but you dont want to be going in the 60+*C range too much.
