I read that x-setup is used for changing the "hidden" settings and there are over 500 of them.

Do you have to be an expert tweaker to get use from it?
Is it easy to undo the changes?

Since they are "hidden" settings, I don't even know what they are to know if I want to change them. To get an idea of an example, what are 2-3 of the more common settings you would recommend users to change?
