I am not connecting the plotter/printer to the pass thru on the scanner.
I am connecting the plotter/printer directly to the parellel port on the laptop. I have in the device manager disabled the SCSI Controller for the scanner.
(I had come across somewhere that this setup can cause problems with the plotters, so have been there done that, and tried that)

Although I did try connecting the scanner and then the plotter/printer to the pass thru of the scanner just to see if that may have worked by some wild chance. But that did not help, or make any difference for that matter.
