I have worked in a Frozen food plant. It was everything except Kill.

I have worked most of the available postions at least for a short time.

I have worked on the line packing, I have worked in the cookroom, In the RAW area, Night Clean up, and even with QA(quality Assurence). I have seen everything at the plant I work. You could say I have worked side by side with inspectors.

The plant I worked for was own by Hudson Foods, Tyson Foods, and is now Owned by Advanced Foods...

It was mainly at Chicken Processing plant however they did run some pork.

I have to admit that plant was clean, It didn't brother me to eat food that came from there.

Think of it this way, I would have maybe 3 areas to clean in one night, normally you get the same area over and over so that you are an expert there. You clean and clean, then in the morning you are inspected with a flash light. I have seen the inspectors under, in, and around all of the equipment.

IF it wasn't done right you didn't get your bonus for that night.

By the time we were done you could eat off of the floor.
they were always testing the belts for any type of germs that may have attacted to it.

I will say that was very hard work. also the inspectors worked for the government, which meant the company had to do what every they said. The company hated the down time, but knew if the inspector wanted to she could shut down the plant at anytime she decided to

I will admit that we had a very hard inspector, but it makes me feel better to thing that food plants get inspected. If all the plants get inspect half as hard as were, it would be very safe.

I know I list that I worked for Hudson Foods, you remember the ecoli posining, I started for them right after that happened, the plant I worked for was not involed with that mess, since they did not run beef.
