Hi. The specs are:
Mobo: Shuttle A161
Processor: 700mhz Athlon
Ram: 196mb
OS: Win2k with SP3
The video card is an XFX Geforce 2 MX400 with 64mb of ram (the guy at Tiger Direct told me its an Albatron card but I don't see that name no where on the car or the box).
Whenever I try to start the computer with the card it locks up at the Win2k startup screen (when the progress bar reaches the end) and the startup screen gets scrambled. The only way to start the computer with the card is in safe mode.
I've tried using pre NVIDIA 30.82 drivers but it does not make a difference. I also tried looking at the tech info at
www.xfxgraphics.com but its no help.
Please help me before I throw this card in the trash
but I would really like to use it instead of my ATI Rage 128 VR with 8mb of ram
