I live in Bakersfield , California
We have Buck Owens, Sand, Palm Trees, Dense Fog, Heat, and Palm Trees. But we are less than two hours from the beach, two hours from major ski areas, and 4 hours from Las Vegas. And this is a town in California where it is still cheap to live and wages are pretty good (Power Plant Operator $66,000 base with an average of $82,000 per year including overtime)
