In Scotland we have traditions that for centuries the English have tried to ridicule.

Scotland has a population of 5 million people yet we take up the most beautiful part of the island of the United Kingdom. We have four cities Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee and have within a few miles drive the most spectacular scenery to be seen anywhere in the UK.

We have hills, mountains, valleys, islands and wealth our lowly, southerly English neighbours can only dream of.
England is flat and is full of uninteresting people.

Scotland reminds me of Canada. It has 1/10th the population of it's southerly neighbour and envious eyes are always cast north.

Scotland as a very proud small nation gave the world some of it's greatest people: Alexander Graham Bell (Telephone), John Logie Baird (TV), Alexander Fleming (Penicillan), Andrew Carnegie (Economics), James Watt (The Steam Engine), James Dunlop (The Pnuematic Tire), Many Scots (Declaration of U.S. Independance)

We are a small nation subjgated by a larger one so have to shout louder to be heard!

God Bless America and Freedom!

Oh, our noble leader Mr Tony Blair (Scottish name) is Scottish and proud but chooses to ignore it to appease our friends in...England)
