Hi Strider,

Do your Dad a favor and don't use that DEER PSU in his new computer. They are terrible and could damage the motherboard and other parts when it dies (yes...it's not if, but when).

Get a good quality power supply that is P4 ready. Look at the 300 watt power supplies from Antec, Astec, Enlight, Enermax, Sparkle Power, PowerMan, Hi-Power, Fortran Source, AOpen or PC Power & Cooling.
