Just completed my first build, running fairly smoothly save for one thing. Once I installed my network card I could no longer shut down windows, it just hangs on the "Windows 98 is now shutting down..." screen. I was able to shut down fine until I installed the network card. Also I can use the reset option fine, the computer resets as normal, its only the shutdown option. Any ideas? My specs are as follows:

52X Sony CDROM IDE
8/4/32A Plextor CDRW IDE
AMPXP 2000+ CPU
512mb 33Mhz DDR Ram
ASUS A7V333 motherboard
Iomega 250mb Internal Zip
100GB WD 7200rpm 8mb Buffer
Sound Blaster Live Digital 5.1
ATI Radeon 8500 64mb DDR
