If he is using OS-9 I would still recomend Dave, but at $150 a better bet would be to spend the $120 for OS-X, upgrade from OS-9 and get all of the newer OS features and speed in addition to the built in Samba. Or for $200 he could buy a 5 licence family pack of OS-X if he has more than 1 Mac.
