Ok Padawan, what fsb speed are you running it at and what speed does it show at post? I'll no doubt give it a try like that if I can't find out any more about that beta bios flash.
In the meantime, I'm building a relatively inexpensive system for friends using an Abit VA6 board. I threw my old P3-450 on it and stoked it to 133, 4/3, default 2.0 voltage and it spun right up to 600mhz. It would never do that on my Tyan 1530S.. no doubt because I had no way to adjust the pci/memory divisor.
