Maybe some clarification is in order.......

The question posed was:

"Would you be PROUD to shake the hand of the CURRENT president"

My answer was NO! (I would not be proud)

I do have the utmost respect for the office of the president, and that is my problem with Clinton. I feel he has done more to defame the reverence of that office than any president in my memory (I'm now 50+ years old, so I remember a few).

I firmly believe George W. Bush would restore some of that lost dignity.
