Isn't it funny how we've come full circle. When Nixon was persecuted the "Post" was the holy grail of truth for Dem's. But now that they've reported on one of thier own, the Dem's want to crucify it as a trash spewing rag. Bob you make me laugh, so I hope you continue with your posts. But to insinuate that a story which has basis in fact is a lie based on the place from where it was reported from, makes your ability to have an amiable discussion questionable at best. If Reno was forced to investigate (And we all know how she covers for her party), then there truly must have been some serious evidence which gave credence to the allegations. At least enough to warrant investigative action any way.
And second of all, if it were a bold faced Lie, how quickly would Gore's lawyers had the "Post " in court. I'm not saying he did or he didn't, because I don't know either way. But somthing looks funny here, and to dismiss it even handedly as the ramblings of a vindictive press, is simply silly.
And Lastly, saying somthing isn't or isn't true simply because it didn't come from one single source, is a recipe for disaster. I.E.
"Wonder why it is only in the Washington Times. If Foxnews reports it I will listen ~Bob"
Any person who had any want to know the whole truth, would be open to any and all information forthcoming, while at the same time considering its source. Watching, reading, or listening to one source of information and accepting it as fact, breeds ignorance.
