I saw it last night. It was OK. Not great, but OK. Actually, nobody could do much with the dialog. Jennifer Garner was the best "actor" in the movie. She also had the best part and the best lines. Ferrel's character, bullseye, was about as good as a comic book villian gets. He has one line when he is talking to his bad guy boss, Kingpin, after his first encounter with DareDevil that is priceless. Kingpin asks him what he thinks about DareDevil or what he needs or something like that. And he responds "I need my own costume." Afflect was saddled with some really bad dialog. It wasn't his fault. Jack Nickelson couldn't have done anything with that dialog. The FX involved a lot of "flying" human scenes, as in crouching tiger, but not as well done.
All in all the character DareDevil is a sort of redone early Batman in the sense that he is continually fighting the suspicion that he the difference between him and the bad guys is not as great as the difference between him and ordinary folks. He keeps telling people that he is one of the good guys. He is clealy trying to convince himself more than the other folks. The meeting of DareDevil and Elektra and the subsequent romance is electric. The best part of the movie.
