Obtaining the Windows Me to Windows XP HP Solution CD
If you have an HP Pavilion PC that came with Windows Me pre-installed and you are upgrading your system using an off the shelf version of Windows XP, you can obtain the Windows Me to Windows XP HP Solution CD by ordering it directly from HP. The CD is available for $9.95 (US price - prices for other regions will vary). Click here to order this CD on line (US & Canada only), or to identify the phone number needed to order the CD for Worldwide regions (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Asia Pacific). For European models phone numbers are also available on the Support Path Card that shipped in box with your PC.
NOTE: If you are using the Windows Me to Windows XP HP Solution CD to assist in upgrading your system to Windows XP, please refer to the instructions that come with the Windows Me to Windows XP HP Solution CD when upgrading your system. The instructions contained in this document describe the upgrade process you would go through without using the CD.
