Don't take it into the shop before you do any of your own work. Try another stick of RAM, disable Serial ports, com ports, disable anything you have onboard that you don't use. Disable and unplug those 2.0 USB ports.
Then reseat each PCI card.
Install the latest drivers for EACH PCI card, aswell as the latest drivers for your video card.
Install VIA 4 in 1 Drivers.
If all of thet fails, the problem that I think is what causing all of this, your VIA chipset. I think it's time that you purchase a new and better motherboard.
Believe me, I tried everything what you did above, besides removing my USB ports, and no success. I only had success running Windows 2000, until the error came up a few nights ago. Although I havent seen it in a while.
Try running the system without your sound card, or try a different sound card.
