Well, it's the other way around, AOL is funding the Mozilla project so they can use the code in Netscape and eventually the AOL browser in the future, so Netscape is more the Mozilla clone than the other way around.

Opera and Mozilla are the two most feature-filled browsers out there right now.

I personally use Mozilla 1.3, don't really care for the Opera interface but it's a matter of preference I suppose.

Be sure to do a custom install and leave out what you don't want.
