I have just completed my first build with NO problems at all....WOOOO!!!

AMD athlon xp 2100+
Thermaltake volcano 9 coolmod heatsink/fan (which is not too loud)
1024 MB PC 2700 DDR RAM
Maxtor 80 GB (partitioned into 2 partitions of 40 GB) and 30 GB Quantium fireball (from my VAIO)
ATI Radeon 9000 pro 128 MB
Asus A7N8X deluxe
Lite-on 16x/40X Cd-rom/DVD-ROM
Lite-on 52x/24x/52x CD-RW drive
frontal audio and usb (still need to mount firewire ports for front)
Windows XP home
1 1.44 MB 3.5" floppy
tri-colored cold cathode (red, green, blue)
3 case fans

It took me about 3 to 4 hours to finish this first build

*feels proud that she booted it up with no problems*
