The actual loading of the page(once the host contacted and finally replies) seems to have sped up..but when contacting the host...it still sometimes takes forever for it to reply..throw in all those adservers and there really is not too much of a speed increase...then again I'm still on a dialup too so maybe this doesn't mean too much.
