Install PC Anywhere on both machines. Set up the one at home as a host, and forward the 2 required ports in the router (as I remember, 5631 TCP and 5632 UDP) to the local IP (the one the router assigns, or you assign) of the machine. Set your remote to connect using TCP/IP to the WAN IP address (the one Rogers assigns) of your router and dial up an ISP with the notebook.
