AMD Athlons can just as easily be overclocked by changing the multiplier of the processor (with a GFD), rather than just moving up the bus speed. Changing the multiplier will only change the processor speed and not the bus speed, so no extra stress is put on the motherboard. With a small touch of luck, Athlon 550s can easily be put up to 850mhz or more.
