during setup you will need to pick clean install, not upgrade. Right after that there will be something that says 'I want to pick the partition where windows will be installed' or something to that effect. If you dont have the choice for upgrade or clean install then your cd is not the full version and you cant do it. You cant run the win2k setup program from a win98 dos disk, you can try but I'm sure that it will tell you 'this program cannot be run in dos mode'
