1. Are you using Novell's client (most people refer to it as "Client 32") or are you using Microsoft's NetWare client?

2. What version of NetWare is it?

3. If the NetWare version is 5.0 or 5.1, does it use NDPS or is it queue-based?

4. What kind of print server? (ie: HP JetDirect)

5. What protocol(s) are you running?

What it sounds like is that your print server is losing connection to the server. I can't give you specifics on what to look for until I know the above info.

Of course, you could start w/ some basics like making sure your frame types match and are explicitly configured (don't use "AUTO") as well as configuring duplex settings explicitly (again... don't use "AUTO").
