All I can say is I had never fooled with Linux before, and Lycoris installed perfectly. It found the nic, went thru the switch, found the router/modem, and had me online perfectly from the start. No prob save for the sound, and that may have been me. I like Lycoris or Gentoo. Gentoo is a little more involved.
