I'm just a rookie at this, but I'm running the same 2.4b P4 on an Asus board. My cpu temp is 28 & mobo is 35. Could it be that his cpu voltage is too high? My system is built in an old Gateway ATX case with stock hsf and the stock fans from the Antec 350sl psu. My room temp is about 75F. Even running a looped Sandra test, my cpu peaked at 42c.
