If you do OC it that way, take it in steps, if necessary 1 or 2 Mhz steps, test, raise FSB, i dont want you coming to me with a frazzled mobo and/or RAM and/or CPU.
There is no guarantee of the performance level your CPU will achieve safely.
The only guaranteed level of performance is that which it is rated for.
You *should* be able to get these speeds, I have seen these speeds on at least 30 or 40 machines.
EDIT - As soon as i have the money for my new build, which will be a 2500+ Barton on a soltek board, this is the speed i am aiming for, of course, if you want to run the RAM synch, its a good idea to buy PC3200 RAM, as while PC2700 might make it to 3200, id rather not risk it
