I cant agree that bechmarks speak louder then words. "Your" application speed under any platform are the final verdict.
I rarely give benchmarking programs the time of day simply because they are mesuring "that" system and not "my" system.
Very few benchmarking programs are truely "repeatable" and "sandra" has to be the worst especially in my case where SCSI devices are used and IDE is not.
There is ALWAYS some sort of bias involved in any benchmarking program and their is always a slightly differing configuration.
Too many times did a program duplicate itself on duplicate hardware.
