Premier was dropped because of Final Cut Express, Not Final Cut Pro. Express is $299 conpared to Premiers $699 and a better program at that, So it made no sense for Adobe to continue the product. The new photo management software was a windows only program because OS-X already has iPhoto built in for free, so that made no sense either, who would pay $50 for software they already have. The Apple/Adobe relationship will continue until Apple have a product that competes with Photoshop, then Adobe will probably be Wintel only.
