No one can teach you to spray, youll have to waste one can practicing on some clean sheet metal- maybe buy a $15 PC
at a thrift shop. Too far away and the finish will be powdery- Too close and it will run. Many, many thin coats. After the first coat you should see a fair amount of the original color still showing. Other coats just as thin. Maybe 5 coats. Let each coat dry for at least an hour or longer.
Clean all surfaces with a mild degreaser like mineral spirits, or denatured alcohol, or hot water and detergent, prior to spraying.
The plastic on the front might be a problem in that the enamel paint wont stick. I'd check that out first before
wasting my time on the case. Check with a hobby shop
that sells stuff to geezers that fool around with toy trains - they might have some special spray paint for plastic.
Go for it- at worst you'll have to buy a new case !

PS- on second thought I don't think it will work- How are you going to stop the paint vapours getting inside the floppy and Cd drives etc when you sparu the front bezel ? I'd try your thrift shop one with a paint brush on the plastic if you are determined to do it. Is it worth it ?
