Now What?

I was finally succesful in diagnosing and resolving the problem with the center speaker on my Logitech Z-640 speakers. After some more trouble shooting and deliberation I concluded that for some reason the center/sub connection on my mother board is reversed. Therefore sending the center signal to the sub and vise versa. Using THIS setup I was able to reverse the connection. I thought these speakers sounded great before but they sound even better when they are hooked up correctly. Why would my onboard sound be reversed like that? Anyway, now I still cannot hear anything in front of me in the Call of Duty demo. Nothing comes through the center speaker in that game. That game uses EAX. Could it be that my onboard sound does not support EAX?

Here are my system specs

AMD Athlon 1.8ghz CPU
